Rudranth Trek

Rudranath trek is a popular trek and destination among trekkers and nature lovers , famous for its expense of Alpine meadows, huge variety of alpine flowers and landscape views. Rudranath is the fourth kedar among the Panch Kedar and it is the only temple where face of Shiva is worshipped.

This trek route is situated in Alaknanda and Mandakini valley in upper Himalayas of Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, India. The trek routes moves through Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary. Pitra dhar (3500 m) is the highest elevation. Total trek is 66 kilometre from Mandal and Urgam. May to October is the best season to visit Rudranath trek. Atri Anusuya Ashram, the rapid stream fall, Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, Rudranath temple group, the untouched forest and wildlife should not be missed by tourists.


Day 1 : Delhi - Alpine Camp (Duggalbitta), Night stay at Luxery swiss Tents.

Day 2 : Alpine Camp to Hanse Bugyal (3000m) on rout in Jungle 15 kms ascending trek in dense forest of K.W.L.S, crossing Atri- Ansuya Ashram at 5 km. Night stay at Tents.

Day 3 : Midpoint to Rudranath(3100m) – 10 km ascending and descending trek,crossing alpine meadows. Night stay at Tents

Day 4 : Rudranath to Dumak village (2200m) - 20 trek, down & up.Night stay at home stay or Tents

Day 5 :Dumak to Kalpeshwar(2000m) – 20 kms moderate trek. Night stay at Home stay or Tents
